Is it getting hot in here?! The Euphorbia tetra lives its best life in a warm environment, ideally no cooler than 15°C.
Stop the rot! Allow your cactus’ soil to completely dry-out between waterings as excess water can lead to root rot.
Light
Euphorbia tirucalli needs bright light to thrive. Direct sunlight is fine but take care to ensure this does not scorch the plant.
Watering
Allow the soil of your Pencil Cactus to dry-out before watering again. Do not overwater as the plant will not tolerate standing in water.
Temperature
The tirucalli prefers reasonably warm temperatures, ideally between 15-27°C. Keep out of draughty areas and avoid allowing the plant to fall lower.
